Diane and Jerry have been members of FBC Blanco for 22 years. Before moving to Blanco in 2002, they lived in Austin and were members of Hyde Park Baptist Church for 18 years, where Jerry served as a Deacon. Jerry was ordained as a Deacon at Citadel Square Baptist Church in 1973 while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. Following his discharge from the Navy, they moved to Houston in 1975 and were members of Tallowood Baptist Church where Jerry also served as a Deacon.
Jerry and Diane met at Texas Tech University in 1966 and were married in 1968. They have four children and eight grandchildren, living in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, and Denver. Jerry is a retired lawyer and Diane is a very active grandmother and mother. Jerry has previously served as a  Trustee of FBC Blanco and a member of the FBC Church Council. At previous churches, they served as directors of the Young Married groups for over thirty years.
