David Park is an ordained Baptist minister who has served as a pastor, missionary, and Air Force chaplain.  As a Southern Baptist missionary, he taught Greek and New Testament at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary.  His Air Force career included assignments in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, culminating as Command Chaplain for Air Force Space Command and United States Northern Command.  In addition, he served as the Director for the Louisiana Family Assistance Center following hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  Subsequently, David was employed by the National Guard Bureau in Washington D.C.  David and his wife, Mary moved to Blanco in 2007 and joined First Baptist Church shortly thereafter.  David served as interim pastor of the church from 2013-2014.  Since then, he has served on various church committees and as a deacon.
David and Mary have three sons and nine grandchildren.
