After Karen’s retirement, Heinz and Karen Roesch moved to Cielo Springs, Blanco, from Indianapolis IN on July 1, 2019.  They moved to Blanco to be near their children and are proud grandparents of Carina (12) and Memphis (15 mos.). They have three grown children: Cara and Christoph reside in North Austin and eldest son Stefan lives in Blanco. Heinz retired from international investment banking in 2001 and enjoys crunching numbers, cooking, and traveling. Karen is a retired German professor and enjoys teaching, baking, and painting. She currently substitutes for the ESL Ministry and Joy class when needed. Heinz  serves as FBC Treasurer / Chair of the Finance Committee on the FBC Church Council and was ordained as a deacon on June 9th, 2024.
