Robby Robinson has been a deacon at First Baptist Church Blanco since June 25, 2017.  He has served as Chairman of the Deacons as well as several other leadership roles.  He has been a member of the Church Council and a Trustee.  Robby also served on the committee to remodel the sanctuary and helped with making our new playground a reality by finding the LCRA grant and helping to secure it.  Robby currently leads our Monday night Men’s group as well as the FBC Men’s breakfast in cooperation with other local churches and ministries in the Blanco community. He also helps as needed with our Youth program.  Robby met his wife, Dawne in San Marcos in 1991.  They were married on April 23, 1994.  They moved to Blanco in 2005 and raised their two boys, Jacob and Wade, who are now Texas A&M graduates.  Jacob currently attends dental school at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He will graduate in 2025.  Wade is currently employed with Alpha Facilities Solution and pursuing an additional degree in Data Analytics. Dawne and Robby have a successful Real Estate office in the Blanco Courthouse. They have been in the industry for approximately 30 years. Their hobbies are tournament bass fishing, camping and travel. If you have been at FBC for any time you have probably enjoyed some of Dawne’s famous cookies or something from Robby’s grill as he often volunteers to cook at church gatherings.  Dawne and Robby are excited for the future at FBC and are faithful followers of Christ.
